About

From STIX to Bambajam

Bambajam was created by British musician Duncan McKee and builds on the original STIX format, first launched in 2004 and delivered internationally for conferences and corporate events.

The original format

STIX — motivation through music

The original format, STIX, was created by Duncan McKee in 2004. It was delivered internationally for conferences and corporate events across 14 countries, with clients including Google, Microsoft, IBM, HSBC, Shell, Accenture and The World Bank.

The experience has now been redesigned as Bambajam, built around a new tuned-bamboo instrument system and a more musically ambitious live format. The core concept remains the same: a room full of people performing together.
